Iris Bryce shared her memories of working at Bletchley Park Code Centre
One resident at Westbank Care Home shared her prized possession during remembrance celebrations in the lead up the 100th anniversary of Armistice day on 11 November 2018. Iris Bryce worked at Bletchley Park as a code breaker during World War 2 and still has her certificate to prove it. Iris was involved in breaking the Enigma Code which significantly shortened the war and saved countless lives. Residents and staff spent the day making poppies and remembering loved ones who served in armed forces across the world.
