Staff and Residents at Buxton Lodge made poppies in celebration of 100 years since the WW1 armistice.
Residents created a collage and made traditional red poppies to celebrate Remembrance Sunday on 11 November 2018. It was 100 years to the day since the end of the First World War when the armistice was declared and fighting ceased. People reminisced about members of their family who took part in war and conflict and celebrated their sacrifices and selfless contributions. Photographs of residents and loved-ones provided poignant memories.
