Leolyn News and Events

We would like to introduce and welcome our new weekend activities co-ordinator, Merry. Merry has wide a varying interests including craft and social history and she will be assisting service users to compile their compelling life story books as well as encouraging social activities and crafts.

Exciting up and coming events being held at Leolyn in 2012:

* 12th May we will be holding our SPRING FAYRE from 12.00 - 5.00pm. All proceeds will be split equally between Leolyn House, the RNLI and Alzheimer's Society.

*10th June Jubilee Celebration BBQ from 3.00pm. £2.50 per person to enjoy the delicious BBQ, please contact Ann at Leolyn to book your place at the BBQ.

* 28th July Leolyn will be holding our own LEOLYMPICS floor games afternoon from 3.00pm

* 29th September we will be holding our CONKER FAYRE from 2.00 - 5.00pm. All proceeds will be split equally between Leolyn House, Age UK and the British Red Cross.

Hairdresser: Visits the home weekly. Prices from £10 for a trim to £40 for a perm

Chiropodist: Every 6 weeks, £10 per session

Beauty Therapist: Pedicures, manicures, facials, arm and shoulder massages from £5 - £20

Massage Therapist: Treatments from £10 - £30

* Treatments will not be given if nursing staff concider the treatment to be detrimental to the well being or condition of the service user.

If you would like to hold a stall at one of our Fayres to sell your arts and crafts please contact Ann, the cost is £5 per stall.
