Welcome to Highview Oast Care Home, a beautiful converted Oast House set in Rural Kent surrounded by magnificent views of farm land.
High View Oast is a very friendly place where we aim to make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible. We have a plenty to offer you - such as beautiful views of the Kent country side from all areas of the home, excellent accommodation, delicious home-cooked food and all the help you need to make your life here pleasant and comfortable.
It is important to us that you feel relaxed and welcome, and that your relatives are confident you are being well supported.
Highview Oast Home was acquired by New Century Care in July October 1998 with a mix of 33 single and shared rooms on two floors. Highview Oast Care Home is ideal for people with general nursing and specialised needs.
High View Oast is currently being fully refurbished and there are plans to increase the amount of en-suites in the home. For more information about the refurbishment, please contact our Home Manager.

Our home...is your home
At Highview Oast Care Home you can relax in its attractive and comfortable lounge and open dining area, with quiet areas where you can read, chat or spend time with your family and friends. We also have a lovely outside patio area where our residents and their guests love to sit outside and enjoy the fantastic views.
All rooms have all the necessary safety features such as smoke detectors and a Nurse-Call system to ensure 24-hour confidence and reassurance.
You will have your own key-worker to support you and a care plan which is regularly reviewed to ensure that any changes in your well-being are documented and understood by all.
Bedrooms...make it your own!
You have your own room so you can maintain your independence and privacy-although if you wish, you can spend time with your fellow residents in the lounge or dining area. We know how important it is to have time and space to yourself, so we put a lot of effort into making you’re your room is pleasant, comfortable and personal to you.
Bedrooms are homely and comfortable and offer television aerial sockets and telephone points. All bedrooms are tastefully decorated with room for you personal belongings, so you can dress your room in your own way to make it feel your own.
Your meals…lovely home cooking
We all know that food is one of life’s great pleasures, so we provide a varied choice of menu every day. You can eat in your own room or with the other residents in the dining area. As well as your main meals you can have snacks and drinks at any time of the day or night, and if you have a special diet, our fabulous Chef will be happy to discuss it with you.
Highview Oast has its own laundry service, which collects and delivers clothes back to you. However, relatives may take laundry to do themselves outside the Home if they wish. We do ask that all garments are clearly labelled with the relevant person’s name to ensure all items are returned to the correct owner.
Activities...lots to do!
We are very keen to encourage everyone in our care to join in our wide range of activities; we even have an Activities Co-ordinator who provides lots of different things for you to do. This is a great way to get to know your fellow residents and with visiting entertainers and outings throughout the year so there is always something to do.
Outside the Home
Highview Oast is set in the beautiful surroundings of Kent, the Garden of England, which can be viewed from all areas of the Home.
This cleverly converted former Oast House is complimented by typical English gardens, which are well maintained on a regular basis by our professional gardening team and can be enjoyed throughout the summer months.
