Welcome to Hazelgrove Care Home, a very friendly place where we aim to make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible. We have plenty to offer you - such as excellent accommodation, delicious home-cooked food and all the help you need to make your life here pleasant and 
comfortable. It is important to us that you feel relaxed and welcome, and that your relatives are confident you are being well supported.
Hazelgrove Care Home opened in 1993 and is registered for 48 residents and cares for people who require personal and nursing care as well as people experiencing confusion and dementia. As well as long term residency we welcome short terms respite and medium term convalescence. Rooms are situated over two floors, all of which are en suite.
There is a well appointed lounge and dining room on both the ground and the first floor.
A purpose built home, Hazelgrove offers exceptional levels of culinary skills and our Chef produces top quality meals and snacks.
Hazelgrove is currently working towards the Gold Standards Framework; a framework to help deliver an exception standard of care for residents.

Our home...is your home
At Hazelgrove Care Home you can relax in the attractive and comfortable lounge as well as an open dining area, with quiet areas where you can read, chat or spend time with your family and friends.
All rooms have all the necessary safety features such as smoke detectors and a Nurse-Call system to ensure 24-hour confidence and reassurance.
You will have your own key-worker to support you and a care plan which is regularly reviewed to ensure that any changes in your well-being are documented and understood by all.
Bedrooms...make it your own!
You have your own room so you can maintain your independence and privacy-although if you wish, you can spend time with your fellow residents in the lounge or dining area. We know how important it is to have time and space to yourself, so we put a lot of effort into making sure your room is pleasant, comfortable and personal to you.
Bedrooms are homely and comfortable and offer television aerial sockets and telephone points. All bedrooms are tastefully decorated with room for you personal belongings, so you can dress your room in a way to make it feel your own.
Your meals…lovely home cooking
We all know that food is one of life’s great pleasures, so we provide a varied choice of menu every day. You can eat in your own room or with the other residents in the dining area. As well as your main meals you can have snacks and drinks at any time of the day or night, and if you have a special diet, our fabulous Chef will be happy to discuss it with you. Hazelgrove Court also has a snack shop selling sweets, drinks, cards and a range of grooming products.
Laundry Service
Hazelgrove has its own laundry service, which collects and delivers clothes back to you. However, relatives may take laundry to do themselves outside the Home if they wish. We do ask that all garments are clearly labelled with the relevant person’s name to ensure all items are returned to the correct owner.
Activities...lots to do!
We are very keen to encourage everyone in our care to join in our wide range of activities; we even have an Activities Co-ordinator who provides lots of different things for you to do. This is a great way to get to know your fellow residents and with visiting entertainers and outings throughout the year there is always something to do.
Outside the Home
Hazelgrove Court benefits from being just a short ½ mile from not only the town centre but also Valley Gardens and the beach.
The home is set in attractively landscaped grounds, complimented by beautiful, well maintained gardens.
Those in our care find this a pleasant area to entertain visitors, stroll or just relax in during the summer months.
