Clyde House also boasts a lovely colonial sun lounge which can be used all year round and has views over the garden.
All rooms have all necessary safety features such as smoke detectors and a Nurse-Call system to ensure 24-hour confidence and reassurance.
You will have your own key-worker to support you and a care plan which is regularly reviewed to ensure that any changes in your well-being are documented and understood by all.
We also have some pets at the home including budgies and we also encourage PAT Visitors (Pets As Therapy).
Bedrooms...make it your own!
You have your own room so you can maintain your independence and privacy-although if you wish, you can spend time with your fellow residents in the lounge or dining area. We know how important it is to have time and space to yourself, so we put a lot of effort into making sure your room is pleasant, comfortable and personal to you.
Bedrooms are homely and comfortable and offer television\aerial sockets and telephone points. All bedrooms are tastefully decorated with room for you personal belongings so you can dress your room in your own way to make it feel your own.
Your meals…lovely home cooking
We all know that food is one of life’s great pleasures, so we provide a varied choice of menu every day. You can eat in your own room or with the other residents in the dining area. As well as your main meals you can have snacks and drinks at any time of the day or night, and if you have a special diet, our fabulous Chef will be happy to discuss it with you.
Clyde House has its own laundry service, which collects and delivers clothes back to you. However, relatives may take laundry to do themselves outside the Home if they wish. We do ask that all garments are clearly labelled with the relevant person’s name to ensure all items are returned to the correct owner.
Activities...lots to do!
We are very keen to encourage everyone in our care to join in our wide range of activities; we have an Activities Co-ordinator who provides lots of different things for you to do. This is a great way to get to know your fellow residents and with visiting entertainers and outings throughout the year there is always something to do. Residents also have access to computers in the home.
Outside the Home
Clyde House is set in beautiful and tranquil grounds complimented by typical English gardens, which are maintained regularly by our professional gardeners and can be enjoyed by all in the summer months.
We are also on a main bus route into town and our nearest train stations are Warrior Square and Hastings which are both approximately 5-10 minutes from Clyde House.
