2011 Events

- 7th and 19th July: Pets as Therapy hour/
- Thursday 21st July 2.30pm: Music and singalong with Andy,our visiting entertainer.
- Saturday 30th July: Aldwick House's Grand Summer Fete 12-4pm including Barbeque, games, Raffle etc with first prize being a round of Golf for four people at Chichester Golf Club, Cake stall etc.
- 2nd August;Pets as Therapy Hour(pm)
- Date to be confirmed Craig Stevens musical entertainer.
The Summer Fete at Aldwick House on the 8th August was a great sucess raising £156.00.
December activities
- 14th Dec - Craig Stevens will be providing a hour of Christmas themed entertainment between 2pm and 3pm
- 18th Dec - Christmas Fete with raffle, name the Christmas teddy bear and cake stall between 12 midday and 3pm
- 25th Dec - visit from Father Christmas, who will bring presents for all the residents in the morning plus traditional Christmas lunch
Change of scene for residents on memory walk.
Patients and their relatives joined staff from Aldwick House Care home in Bognor Regis on a memory walk recently. It was part of an annual national event aimed at raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society and increasing awareness of dementia.
These walks give residents a chance to visit different surroundings and enojoy new sights and views.
Walkers took advantage of the local parks, promenade and pavements by beginner their stroll in fine weather at Marine Park Gardens. Aldwick House staff and residents raised £55.20 for the Alzheimer’s Society.
