London, 9 June 2014: New Century Care (NCC), a leading UK operator of care homes for people with dementia and specialist nursing needs, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mel Ramsey as Chief Executive Officer. Since its formation, New Century Care has been committed to providing the highest standard of care to our residents.”
Mel Ramsey commented:
“I am really looking forward to the opportunity to lead New Century Care through the next stage of its journey, from being a very good operator of care homes providing specialist support to older people, into something outstanding. By continuing to develop improved and innovative ways of working, we will be able to build a stronger platform to further develop and grow the business for the benefit of the people we support and our dedicated staff.”
Paul Warren, who founded NCC in 1995 and has grown the Company to its current size, will maintain an active role as a non-executive board member in the business. He will also join NCC’s senior advisory committee in order to support the Company through its next phase of growth.
